The six public tiers
#Every card belongs to one tier. The tier sets its base stats, its visual treatment, and how often it appears in a pack. Higher tiers are stronger in the Arena and easier to spot in a grid because their frames and effects differ.
| Tier | Standard pack rate | Arena standing | Visual effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 50% | Lowest base stats | No overlay |
| Rare | 30% | Higher base stats | Blue icon pulse |
| Epic | 15% | Higher base stats | Purple glow |
| Legendary | 4.5% | High base stats | Gold sweep and embers |
| Divine | 0.5% | Highest standard pack tier | Rose glow and sparkles |
| Ancient | Golden Wool Market | Highest tier in the game | Orange glow and embers |
| Secret | Not in standard packs | Hidden tier | Green glow |
How pack drop rates work
#A standard pack rolls one rarity first, then picks a card from the matching pool. The five public pack rates add up to 100%, which is why Ancient and Secret cards have a 0% entry in the pack table. They are deliberate exceptions, not missing odds.
Each themed pack uses the same public rarity curve. What changes is the card pool behind it. A Season 1 pack only contains Season 1 cards, a Memes pack only contains Memes cards, and so on.
Grades from 1.0 to 10.0
#Every card instance receives a random grade when you pull it. The grade raises the sale value and the Arena stats. A perfect 10.0 is also required for series perfection rewards and for mastering a finish variant.
- 1.0 to 3.0: Poor
- 4.0 to 6.0: Average
- 7.0 to 8.0: Good
- 9.0: Mint
- 10.0: Perfect
What to do with duplicates
#Duplicates are useful. Keep the best grade for your Arena team, then send the rest to the Forge or sell them for coins. The Forge shows the exact resources before you confirm, so you can compare the value of a duplicate against the value of a coin sacrifice.
Do not sell a card that is your only copy of a series reward card until you have claimed the collector reward. The album tracks both the card count and the grade, and the reward is tied to the card, not to the copy in your inventory.
Ancient and Secret cards
#Ancient cards are the top of the public list. They are not part of the normal pack roll; you buy them directly from the Golden Wool Market, one card at a time. That makes Golden Wool the bottleneck, not luck.
Secret cards are a hidden tier. They never appear in standard packs, and the game does not show them in the public rarity count. Treat them as event content rather than as a seventh tier you can farm.
Frequently asked questions
What is the rarest card tier in Llama Legends?
Ancient is the rarest public tier. Ancient cards come from the Golden Wool Market rather than from standard packs. A hidden Secret tier also exists, but it is not part of the public count.
Can I pull an Ancient card from a booster pack?
No. Standard packs roll Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Divine. Ancient cards are bought directly from the Golden Wool Market.
Does a higher grade change the card art?
No. The grade changes the sale value and the Arena stats. The art changes when you unlock a finish or a full art design variant.
What happens when I sell a duplicate?
You receive coins based on the card rarity and grade. The copy leaves your inventory, but the card stays in your album as collected.
