Account and cloud save

Llama Legends stores a local save in the browser and can sync it to the cloud when you sign in. Cloud sync keeps the collection, progress, and cosmetics across devices. If the local save and the cloud save differ, the game asks which progress to keep instead of choosing silently.

Local save

#

The game writes to local storage first. You can play without an account, and the local save is the source of truth until you sign in. Clearing browser data removes the local save, so export or sync before you clear site data.

Cloud sync

#

Sign in with Google or email to sync the save to Firestore. The cloud save is throttled, so the game does not write on every click. The profile shows the last sync state and a manual save button.

On a new device, sign in and choose the cloud save. The game downloads the collection, progress, and cosmetics, then continues from the cloud state.

Save conflicts

#

If the local save and the cloud save both changed, the game shows both sides side by side: local device and cloud storage. Pick the one you want to continue with. The other side is not merged automatically, so choose carefully.

What is stored

#

The save contains the game state: cards, currencies, progress, and cosmetics. Account data is limited to the login identifier and the public profile fields you choose to show. The privacy policy lists the full data set and the retention rules.

No. Cloud sync is part of the free game. There are no purchases.

Where is my save stored?

Locally in the browser, and in Firebase Firestore when you sign in and sync.
